Our Story
KYD-X began to help raise awareness, promote discussion, discover solutions, and create opportunities for people living with disability to enjoy everyday experiences, every day.
After our inception in 2016, KYD-X has created and hosted events to promote accessibility, social inclusion and independence for people living with disability. This includes the annual Kids & Youth Disability eXpo, where over 120 exhibitors help parents, carers and individuals make better informed choices about the support available to them.
We have since handed over management of the eXpo but continue to offer a range of inclusive services and Support Coordination to our clients.
Taking our knowledge and experience from running the eXpo and combining it with our own lived experience, we launched KYD-X Support Services to offer mentoring, Support Coordination, and Specialised Support Coordination to people with NDIS funding.
Our aim is to provide a better experience for the community we care so deeply about.
