Our Story
KYD-X exists to help raise awareness, promote discussion, discover solutions, and create opportunities for people living with disabilities to enjoy everyday experiences, every day.
Since 2016, KYD-X has created and hosted events to promote accessibility, social inclusion and independence. This includes the popular Kids & Youth Disability eXpo where over 120 exhibitors help parents, carers and individuals make better informed choices about the support available to them.
Taking our knowledge and experience from running the eXpo and combining it with our own lived experience, we launched KYD-X Support to offer NDIS Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination for people of all ages. Our aim is to provide a better experience for the community we care so deeply about.
We have great big goals for this great big world we all live in, including our ‘Off the Floor’ project to provide portable accessible adult changing facilities (specialised accessible toilets).
