A big “hello” to the Kyd-X community from Brazier Mobility!
For those of you that don’t know us, Brazier Mobility modifies cars, vans and buses so that people with disability can continue to get out of their homes, and into the community. We’re South Australian based and we’ve been doing this for over 30 years.
We work with vehicle assistive technologies every day, installing solutions to help people get into cars, get their wheels into cars, and to drive cars. We work closely with Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Professionals to deliver quality solutions suited to each customer’s individual needs. Our product knowledge is exceptional, and this allows us to deliver creative and bespoke solutions for our customers that others cannot find.
We pride ourselves in the care we give our customers, and this shows in every piece of work that we do. Our work is reliable and built to last and we have an abundance of repeat customers for this very reason.
Surprisingly, our build times are reasonable. We don’t believe people should have to wait 9 months or more for their modifications to be completed. We schedule our work to ensure people get the work they need done, as quickly as possible. Delays do happen, especially in times of world supply constraints, however we keep our customers informed along the way to make sure they know they are not just a number. Wherever needed, we have nationally accredited consultant engineers, who are at arms-length from our company to certify our work.
Listen to our webinar where showcase just some of the things we do. We talk about hoists and turnout seats to help people get into cars. We talk about loaders to help people get their gophers and wheelchairs into cars and then we talk about some of the incredible wheelchair accessible vehicles we build at our facility in Edinburgh North here in SA. We also touch on the benefits of building locally, as well as some of the things to watch out for with imported accessible vehicles. It’s not an award-winning performance but there’s some really good tips and ideas that many families will find useful.
We are a registered NDIS provider, but we also work closely with return to work agencies, motor accident support organisations, government departments, charities and private buyers. We will always deliver the same, excellent solution, irrespective of who is funding the work. It’s the passenger that counts, not where the money is coming from.
Above all, we love to help! If you have any questions about transporting a passenger with a disability, give us a call and find out what we can do for you.
